Yes, they sure can. We focus on vegetarian food, but all requirements can be catered for. The ingredients used are locally found and fresh.
No need, your presence will make their days! Prices for these experiences are super affordable, you can choose to tip at the end of your experience if you wish or teach the kids games / skills.
Yes, most of the families english is great and you can easily converse with them in English. P.s. Listen out for Shizzo’s jokes and riddles!
Sham organises everything so beautifully, with really impressive tailor made itineraries. I loved my nights on the Kenyan coast, especially canoeing in Mida Creek! Definitely book with T4P if you can
Really well organised Dhow Cruise on Mida Creek with a whole boat to ourselves, making it feel extra special, especially when we saw all others packed in with 20 people or more!! Knowledgeable boat staff, Toma and Abdul, who ensured my two boys were comfortable when going for a swim in the creek…experience they loved. Sham communicated all arrangements really well throughout the process and was flexible when needed. Would highly recommend!!
My girlfriend and I took part in the Mida Creek village experience. We had an amazing time with a local family who welcomed us into their home. We took part in a range of activities including an incredible cooking class that allowed us to learn the local cuisine by educating us on the food, how to prep and cook a traditional meal. The family also provided us with a unique experience by teaching us crafts such as how to weave a roof part found on local houses, how to roast cashew nuts grown on the family trees and how to collect, open and enjoy fresh coconut water. Following this wonderful experience we were given a tour of the local area and the families future projects. We enjoyed lounging on beautifully made hammocks on the coast of the creek. After a little break we took an enjoyable canoe trip across the creek with another couple. We explored islands where the mangroves grew and even had the opportunity to plant our own mangrove tree. We forgot our swim wear unfortunately so we didn’t get in for an evening swim but we would highly recommend bringing some as the water was beautifully warm and looked so refreshing. On our journey back to our final destination we loved seeing the local wildlife and stunning flamingos 🦩 on the peaceful water. I would highly recommend this experience. Don’t forget your swimwear. Thank you travel4purpose, it was wonderful.
The second part of our trip was the village experience that was also organised by T4P and we met the most loving family and spent the entire day with them. We can not recommend T4P more for purpose-led trips that truly provide the best travel experience.
So glad I got to experience life in the village thanks to T4P, the activities were incredibly fun and I even managed to climb a coconut tree by the end!
