PIcnic & Walk
with Giraffes

Tell Me more...

What? Picnic and/or walk along with Giraffes, Oryxs and Ostriches.

Where? Nguuni Sanctuary

When? Throughout the year, the giraffes live in the sanctuary. Morning is a good time to avoid the sun at it’s peak.

Why? Get your steps in and what a better way to do that than along with Giraffes while learning. Without any fencing, you are extremely close to the friendly giraffes, one of the very few places in the world where this is possible. After which you can enjoy a picnic right by your new pals.

How? Walking shoes and a water bottle is all you need. A guide was organised to provide animal and conservation knowledge throughout the hike. Picnic can be self brought or organised by T4P in line with dietary requirements.

Highlight: walking down a pathway and coming across a family of 12 giraffes including 3 babies!

Walk was amazing with other ladies and Shammi organized it so well. She also had a few games for us to play at the end of the walk after a delicious picnic in nature. Also guides were there to answer all our questions and also point out the the different flora and fauna at the trail.
Shammi very friendly and accommodating.
Thank you ?
