Itinerary

1st:Hour

Walk around the tea farm itself, learn about tea leaves, how they’re harvested and the process after harvesting. Get a chance to pick your own leaves!

2nd:Hour

Nursery tour, learn about different plants, composting and recycling. Have a chance to pot your own plant. Following this, walk through the sensory garden, evoking your 5 senses. Have a chance to create your very own scent bag to take home.

3rd:Hour

Taste 3 different herbal teas freshly brewed from the farm, while enjoying your surroundings.

Can children do this tour?

Yes, there is a fair bit of walking so if they’re ok with that they’ll have a great time!

What should I wear / bring?

Comfortable clothing and shoes, water bottle and sun protection.

Will I get to learn how to pick / harvest tea?

Of course, we also have a few games for you to get involved with!

Is the farm easy to get to?

Totally, only 30 minutes from Nairobi we can help you with transport or you can use uber / your own transport.
